Head to the ski hills or the Woodview mountain top skating trail at Blue Mountain – it’s only 30 minutes away! 

Looking to try something new? Explore the hidden underground world of Metcalfe Rock with a winter caving adventure, where you’ll navigate icy passages and discover stunning rock formations in a truly unique winter setting.

Looking for something a little more chill? Explore Beautiful Joe Park on a toboggan!

For Apres Drinkers

Meet at the Petun Conservation Area for a snowshoe hike along the Bruce Trail. Don’t worry if you’ve never snowshoed before, your guide will teach you. Once the snowshoe is over, head over to Grey & Gold Cider to try some of the area’s delicious craft cider.

If you prefer vino, find a cozy spot by the fire pits at Coffin Ridge Vineyard, where a glass of wine and a fresh pizza from their outdoor oven make for the perfect wind-down after a day of winter fun… Ps. They have igloos covering their outdoor tables

Another great spot to check out is Damn Pub! They have over 1,000 whiskies! 

For Gamers

If you prefer to stay inside, the cottage offers a variety of entertainment options to keep everyone entertained. Challenge friends or family to an exciting game of foosball, where friendly competition is sure to bring lots of laughs. 

For a more laid-back experience, enjoy a selection of board games, from classic favourites to new ones, offering fun for all ages. If you're in the mood to unwind, gather around the TV for a cozy movie night, complete with your favourite films, comfy blankets, and snacks.

  • Set out early, grab a coffee at Savy on the way and hit up the toboggan hill (we have the toboggans so no need to pack them)!

Afternoon:

  • Return to the cottage and relax by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa or mulled wine.

  • Play a game of foosball or enjoy some classic board games in the game room.

Evening:

  • Book dinner at Station 87 or Down Home and treat yourself to great food and drinks.

  • End your day with a hot tub or gather around the fire pit for a quiet evening of relaxation and stargazing under the clear winter sky.
